The John Ellerman Foundation has earmarked £500,000 to be awarded through the Regional Museums and Galleries Fund in 2018. The primary aim is to strengthen regional museums and galleries and help enhance and sustain curatorial development to attract a broader public.

The Regional Museums and Galleries Fund is particularly looking for applications aimed at establishing new ways of working both for established curators or those at the start of their curatorial career, and at enabling organisations to safeguard and advance curatorial skills through a time of change.

While the Foundation's priority is to encourage applications from regional museums and galleries, national institutions may also apply if their project brings significant benefits to the regions.

For further details and information about the application process please see here. Closing date, 1 December 2017.
