New Website as access point to all Subject Specialist Networks in the UK

In a collections climate which is facing economic restraints, Subject Specialist Networks (SSNs) are becoming invaluable. They provide opportunities for museum professionals to network, collaborate, exchange information, and provide expertise on a range of subject areas and aspects relevant to collections held in museums and galleries across the UK. 

A range of different SSNs exist across the UK, many of which have dedicated websites. A new 'umbrella' website has now been created that draws together information about the individual SSNs in the UK. This helpful resource provides a single access point to all available SSN websites, as well as a biannual newsletter and social media updates. An online calendar is also currently being populated with information on upcoming events offered by individual SSNs.
