Read MoreThe Subject Specialist Network: European Paintings pre-1900, Understanding British Portraits, and the British Art Network are delighted to announce a joint conference to take place on 21 and 22 February 2018.
The theme of the conference is 'Why Exhibitions? Strategies, audiences, and future directions.'
We are now inviting proposed papers of 20 minutes each in the form of case studies, questions, issues or challenges.

The final date for submissions is Friday 31 July 2017.
A Basket of Roses by Ignace-Henri-Théodore Fantin-Latour features in the current exhibition True Faith, which runs until 3 September 2017.
